Project Scope
A phased public area renovation to the Buckhead Atlanta landmark hotel, which included the hotel restaurant, bar, and meeting rooms. Scope included the complete structural removal and rebuild of the hotel restaurant. The structure built in place of the existing restaurant houses new event space.
The Shell McElroy team completed the work within an operating 5-star facility, while undergoing a complete re-brand, and staged turnovers to meet the hotel operator’s needs. Situated on the busy Peachtree Street in Buckhead, logistics were a challenge. Site access for the building, operating within the confines of a fully operational hotel and the adjacent office buildings made careful planning a must. All construction was completed without an impact on the guest experience within the Ritz Carlton hotel.
